Mark Cebul DPT head shot and BIO 2016

Mark Cebul (DPT, CSCS) is excited to return to the Lake Norman area and join the Saylor Physical Therapy team. He graduated with a B.S. in Physics from Davidson College and a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. During this time, he worked at a local physical therapy clinic, a local soccer facility and as a personal trainer with a Health Fitness Specialist certification. He then attended Augusta University (formerly the Medical College of Georgia) and graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He received an extensive education that included a variety of clinical experiences that comprised inpatient, general acute and outpatient settings. He has also been recently performing research regarding the values of altruism and social responsibility and their presence and involvement in the field of physical therapy. He plans to continue this research by performing a study that further investigates these values in the clinical setting with the goal of presenting at a national business conference and an American Physical Therapy Association hosted conference. He is also currently a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and looks forward to broadening his scope of practice through additional continuing education opportunities.
In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and both of their four-legged “kids”, being active outside on the lake, in the mountains, at the beach or in the woods, and playing soccer or sweating through a workout.
