Staff at Saylor Physical Therapy Wellington
Dr. Lauren Kratofil, PT, DPT, earned her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Florida International University, graduating number 1 in her class. She has experience in a myriad of environments and enjoys working one on one with her patients. She also plans on becoming manually certified in the near future. Lauren was born and raised in Pompano Beach, Florida and loves the beautiful sunny weather. Her love of physical therapy stems from watching and learning from her uncle who has been a physical therapist for over 30 years. She was inspired as she watched him have such a positive impact on his patient’s lives and quickly fell in love with the profession. She enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors with her husband at their family cabin in Montana.
Jasmine Dabuet PT, DPT graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology. She loved Gainesville so much (Go Gators!), that she decided to continue her education at UF to receive her Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy in 2017.
Jasmine has worked in outpatient clinics in Palm Beach County as well as out of state as a traveler in California, but also has experience in acute hospital and home care settings. She emphasizes functional movement in her exercise interventions and empowers her patients to utilize the tools learned in PT to take control of their health and wellness. She is certified in SFMA Level 1 and is working on her Level 2 certification. She plans on advancing her skills by obtaining certifications in manual therapy and courses focused on the active adult population.
In her free time, she loves traveling, writing reviews on local restaurants, and being active outdoors.
David Valdes PTA, LPTA, was born and raised in the rural mountains of eastern Cuba. From a very young age he felt a passion for science and the human body, which drove him towards his career path. He graduated from South University and has since worked in various medical settings and treated a wide range of diagnoses such as Parkinson’s, CVA, and various balance conditions, with a great deal of experience with vestibular deficits. He uses his manual and IASTM training to enhance his patients’ recovery and maximize the benefits of their therapy.
An advocate for treating not only the body but also the mind, David strives to make his patients feel taken care of and at home. In his mind it is his job as a physical therapist to not only facilitate his patients’ recovery by providing the right exercises and interventions, but also by easing the frustration and stress that comes with their conditions.
Outside of work he enjoys going on impromptu adventures with his fiancée, but also spending a quiet night reading a book, as well writing and drawing.
